Sculptural Ceramic Vase, circa 1950.

Striking, sculptural ceramic piece.

Technically complex to make a piece of this form.

The delicate, slender neck and thin, pie crust top seemingly float and balance with the circular base.

Artist unknown.

The shaped top with pie crust edge supported by a long tapering neck with ring turning widening into a bulbous body.

The main body unglazed decorated in tones of blue and white glazes to create relief and texture.

Indecipherable marks on base, probably related to artist.
