Kinkōzan Sōbei VII, Senzan and Seizan 

A Satsuma earthenware vase of square form; each section reserved within a cobalt blue frame with gilt roundels and floral arabesque motifs; decorated with the four season’s views in Nikko: figures and deer on the passage to a shrine along stone lanterns between cedar trees and flowering cherry in spring; figures by the lake near the stone steps and a pagoda in summer; the Yōmeimon gate of Tōshōgu shrine in autumn; and a snow scene of the red Shinbashi bridge and the Tōshōgu shrine in winte.

Signed Kinkōzan zō 錦光山造 (made by Kinkōzan) in gilt and iron red seal;  Senzan 泉山in red seal on the spring panel and Seizan 静山 in red seal on the autumn panel.
