Satsuma pottery small bowl, Kinkozan, circa 1900, Meiji Period. Finely hand painted to the exterior, with spiralling bands of brightly enamelled flowers, on a gilt seed ground.
The interior painted with a dense band of flowers, around three butterflies.
Kinkozan tsukuru impressed within a gilt seal, to the base.
Diameter – 7.5 cm, 3”.
Height – 4.3 cm, 1 3/4”.
Condition: Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
