A fine late 18th Century writing desk veneered in richly figured West Indian Satinwood. The inlaid tambour top opens to reveal a fitted interior comprising drawers and an adjustable writing slope . The felt lining believed to be original. The two inlaid drawers below fitted with the original ring handles. The tapering legs ending in original brass cap castors. Very good original condition and retaining a super colour and surface throughout. Circa 1785
