Early 19th Century Lignum Vitae Wood Carver's Mallet.

A well proportioned lignum vitae wood carver's mallet in both heart and sap wood, which has moulded turnings on the base and an elegant well turned and shaped handle of attractive proportions. It has a most excellent colour and patination.
