19th Century Welsh Sycamore Cawl Ladle.
A well used Welsh sycamore hook handled cawl ladle with a circular bowl, having a flat top chamfered and angled integral handle with a hook end for hanging or resting on the side of a bowl. After extensive use the bowl now has a dark stained colour, which adds to its appeal and it has a good natural patination.
Welsh Circa 1830.
