19th Century Large Swedish Bentwood Oak Storage Box.
A large and most useful oval bentwood Swedish oak storage box, with an overlap join that is held in place with woven cane. The detachable lid has a central loop handle and is fitted between a vertical post to each end in the traditional manner. The whole has an excellent colour, grain and patination.
