Mid 19th Century Double Sided Elm Gingerbread Mould.
A well carved double sided Dutch gingerbread mould on a well grained elm panel, depicting four subjects. On one side is a cow with a milkmaid and a man on horseback, while on the other side there is a dog and a basket of fruit and flowers. The whole has a rich medium colour and grain, retaining a patination.
