A 19th century Swedish pine bentwood trinket box or food box, having a sprung lid in the usual manner, with an open handle that is decorated with punch work, which conforms with the body, that is constructed in the usual manner with an overlap join. The whole has a medium colour and retains a patination. The lid has been restored.
