Flemish Carved Fruitwood Caryatids.

A well carved pair of Flemish fruitwood figural male caryatids, having sea creatures to the base. It was probably at one time belonging to a piece of furniture or a fire surround. The whole has a rich dark colour and patination.

 

Flemish Circa 1780-1820.
