18th Century Lignum Vitae Tobacco Jar.

An attractive well turned circular Dutch lignum vitae tobacco jar of baluster form, having a fitted lid with a separate pointed finial. It is made of both heart wood and sap wood and has a most pleasing colour, grain and patination.
