An unusual 19th Century Carved Mahogany Snuff Box carved from the solid, having a sliding cross decorated lid. The top edge has small panels of diamond shaped inlay and the four sides are carved in relief with a clover leaf, thistle and rose, denoting the unity of England, Scotland and Ireland. It is raised on four small turned feet and is a most unusual and attractive piece of treen. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
