A pair of late Georgian steel hand held sugar nips stamped W & C Wynn, who were tool and steel toy makers working at 142 Suffolk Street and later in Commercial Street, Birmingham. Hand held sugar nips were essential for the kitchen, as sugar came in solid cone shaped forms and had to be broken up before use.
