An interesting fisherman's revolving line winder, made of fruitwood and oak. The bottom arm has chip carved decoration and is carved with the letters of the alphabet A B C D and E. The top arm has a similar form and is initialled S.J. The centre spindle and handle are made of oak, with the whole having a pleasing colour and a well used patination.
