A rare and beautifully turned four section Victorian rosewood glove/wig powderer of a most appealing design, having a top with seven holes that unscrews from the turned support, which in turn unscrews from the circular container that holds the powder. The base, which also unscrews, is engraved with a crown above the letters V.R. for Victoria Rex. The whole has a good colour, grain and patination.
