A lovely small three section fruitwood nutmeg grater of the Georgian Period, shaped like a barrel. This would fit comfortably in a pocket and ideal for travelling purposes. It unscrews in the centre to reveal the metal grater, which in turn unscrews to reveal a compartment for the nutmeg. All the threads are in good condition. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
