A fine example of a Georgian Period fruitwood serving bowl, having an interior with wide slightly stepped noticeable rings rising to a thin vertical rim. The exterior, which curves inwards to the rim, is further decorated with raised and stepped ring turned bands, and stands on a small protruding concave foot. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination.
