A most attractive late Victorian barrel shaped lime wood tea caddy, having a decorated body that is enhanced by applied bone roundels and faux bone strips, conforming with the fitted lid, which has an intricately carved central knob. There are remains of silvered paper to the interior, and the whole has a rich colour retaining a patination.
