An unusual apothecary's travelling sand glass for thirty second timing, having a slender glass of pinched tube form, that has on it 30 seconds printed in black. The whole is housed in a solid mahogany round ended case, with a screw thread to separate the two halves and to access the glass timer. The whole has a pleasing colour and patination.
