A most useful small mahogany wall pocket for tapers or spills, ideal for a small cottage, having a shaped back board that has a central nail hole for hanging, although it would be also suitable to sit on the mantelpiece. The rounded body, from a single piece of wood, sits on a small protruding rounded base. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
