An unusual circular Georgian two section spice tower, originally lacquered deep red, but with the passing of time it has obtained a rich darker colour. The sections are fitted together and not screwed as in later versions and never had any labels. There are pole lathe turnings throughout. The whole has a pleasing colour and good patination.
