A well constructed good quality Victorian tin candle lantern, having a double swing handle above a decoratively pierced air vent for the hot air to escape. The four glazed bevelled glass panels, with hooded arched tops, compliment the overall design, with one side having a door with a sliding catch to gain entrance to the interior. The whole is seated on a stepped base and raised on four small bun feet, and is in amazingly good and usable condition throughout.
