An extremely rare Victorian patriotic double sided bead and wool work tea cosy, worked on a dark green ground and each side displaying the Royal Coat of Arms. The base has the worked words, 'Dieu et Mon Droit' (God is on my Right). It is edged with a border of gold rope work, and has an open crown to the top with a diamond stitched padded interior. The whole is in remarkably fine condition throughout, with unfaded colour tones, a serious collector's item.
