Late 19th Century Pitch Pine Moulding Block.

A solid oval pitch pine moulding block, having a carved recessed eight pointed star. The whole accentuates the lovely grain, which one finds in pitch pine. It has a good colour and retains a patination.

 

English Circa 1890.
