An unusual late 18th or early 19th century Georgian Beech Biscuit Stamp, having a rectangular block carved with a flower in full bloom, with a Scottish thistle above, enclosed within a recessed border. The handle, with rasp decoration and of primitive form, is held in position by four blacksmith nails. The whole retains a patination.
