An interesting early 20th century tin foot warmer, probably used in a carriage or early motor vehicle. The loose rectangular tin container with a carrying handle for hot coals is inside. The outer case, which has a number two and a stamped phoenix on a branch on both sides, and pierced and shaped air holes on the back and front, has a swing wire carrying handle and three wooden full width foot rests.
