An extremely attractive Georgian plum wood spice pot, having a fitted lid and finial. The well turned body, of reeded and concave form, is raised on a stepped and rounded foot, with noticeable pole lathe turning marks on the underside. The whole has a rich varying colour and excellent patination, a serious piece of treen.
