An extremely interesting 18th century Swedish birch mangle board, having a solid curved handle, moulded edge and of traditional form. The top of the board has three sets of carved initials and dates, indicating the birth dates of their three children, AES 1738, EES 1740 and SES 1744. The whole has an excellent honey colour and patination.
