Roman sprinkler jar with pinched feet.

3rd-4th century AD.

Glass.

Free-blown in clear-green glass, the bulbous body with six pinched feet, a fold at the top of the neck forming a wide lip, a row of pinched decoration below the constricted base of the tapering neck. Intact with some encrustation. Allegedly found near Jerusalem.

Private collection, USA; acquired from Kaufmann's Antiques, Tel Aviv, 1960s-70s.
