A particularly stylish writing table very much in the manner of and the quality of John McLean (1770-1825). 

The table has a leather lined surface bordered by an ormolu gallery of 'Greek' key design above two drawers with ormolu beeding to the edges which is repeated to a panel on each end. 

The table supported on lyre shaped end supports standing on platform bases and united by an arched stretcher.
