An excellent example of a Decorative Chinese ( Canton ) Bamboo Armchair of the Regency Period , still showing the faded white decoration being quite the norm for this very Oriental fashion- which was made to suit the Chinese taste as well the thriving export market mainly to Europe . Notably the Prince Regent set the exotic style at home fashioning the Brighton Pavilion very much n this taste .
