A REGENCY PERIOD OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER WARMING DISH & COVER. CIRCA 1825.

Having a gadrooned & shell border, two cast handles & raised on bun feet. The dish removed revealing the base with hot water reservoir.

Engraved armorial shield to both sides of the cover bearing the engraved motto: Amore Quam Timore.
