A fine Regency mahogany extending dining table attributed to Gillows of Lancaster: good model with shallow frieze, rectangular tablets at the top of the legs, elegant slim turned and reeded legs with brass castors and oak extending action with compartment to store clips and bolts; the superb figured top has one replaced leaf in well matched Georgian mahogany. Closes down to two side tables, each with its own extending action and these bolt together when in dining table mode.
