A fine quality Regency mahogany sarcophagus shaped box, originally for decanters, now silk-lined, in the form of a cellarette. The top with cavetto moulded edge above a tapered body decorated at the front with faux reeded columns and fitted to the sides with original brass lion's -head handles. Raised on original brass animal paw feet.
Exceptional deep colour and rich patination throughout.
