A rare and very attractive 19th century Regency period Copper and Brass Planter of Demi Lune Form.

Having pierced decoration and original lions mask carrying handles.

This unusual item is excellent quality and exudes elegance. Clearly originally made for a household of great wealth, it was made to plant out and use as a symbol of sophistication.

In modern times it could be used for a variety of purposes of course, the most obvious of which being it's original purpose for planting out.

Although please be aware that we cannot guarantee that it is still 100% watertight.

Another great use would be as a log basket beside the fireplace, as it would go beautifully with some fire irons and fire grate.

Circa 1830.

Height - 6in.
Width - 32.5in.
Depth - 18in.
