A generous Regency period carved rosewood library armchair; the armchair's upholstered back and seat above scrolling showwood armchs crisply carved with acanthus leaves and a panelled seat rail; raised on turned and reeded legs which terminate in the original brass cap castors. This armchair is of particularly good scale and is upholstered using traditional techniques with a top cover of Manuel Canovas's blue velvet striped fabric.
