A remarkable and complete set of Six Georgian Solid Mahogany Sgabello Design Hall Chairs - Seats , in virtually original condition - having a particular glowing natural patination .
Sgabello design being 16th -17th Century Italian and normally exotically carved and often with painted armorial and flora panels has as is often the way been refined to suit the particular English taste ......though the overall individual Sgabello shape has been faithfully adhered to .
Of note .....Unusual to find a complete set - most sets seem to have broken up into various pairs presumably bequested to various family members .
