Rare set of five panoramas of the River Thames by Samuel and Nathaniel Buck, published September 11th 1749 at No. 1 Garden, Court, Middle Temple.
Places of interest are numbered on each print.
Panorama one has 1 – 11 places numbered (Westminster Bridge to Whitehall), panorama two has numbers 12 – 30 listed (Whitehall to Somerset House), panorama three has numbers 31 – 48 listed (Somerset House to Bridewell), panorama four has numbers 49 – 82 listed (Fleet Ditch to St Mary’s Aldermanbury) and, finally, panorama five has numbers 83 – 90 and 1 to 40 listed (Old Street to Mansion House and St Swithin’s to London Bridge.
