An extremely rare large Scottish Provincial silver punch ladle with twisted whalebone handle made circa 1795 by Charles Fowler of Elgin.
The ladle has a circular bowl and is of large size (33 cms long-13 inches) and in good condition.
Whilst I have seen small size Elgin made toddy/cream ladles this is of great rarity.
