A Rare Regency Concave Side Cabinet.
Firmly attributed to Gillows.
Constructed from a flamed Cuban mahogany, supported on boldly carved lion's paw feet, the side cabinet of unusual shape with an incurved front, flanked by tapering and reeded columns, the double doors fitted with brass grilles, revealing the interior of eight drawers each with brass lion's mask handles, the top with a three-quarter pierced brass gallery.
