A Rare Pair of Silver Mounted Queen Anne Pistols.
A fine pair of 18th century silver mounted turn off cannon barrel flintlock pistols by George Reed, London. The barrels are numbered and with good proof marks. The well figured walnut stocks with silver mounts including a mask on the butt end, a trophy of arms, and a vacant shield.
George Reed is listed as working in the first half of the 18th century.
