Fine Pair of Pure English Regency Period Mahogany Klismos Library Chairs of outstanding quality and a design which certainly suggests the work of the eminent George Oakley.

The naturally patinated timber being contrasted with the addition of super gilt metal mounts to the backs - frieze and the tops of the well drawn sabre legs. 

A beautiful pair of unusual chairs, while being of highly decorative value would certainly enhance any serious collection.
