Pair of Eighteenth Century English Mahogany Bedside Cabinets of the George 11 period . Of interest is the unusual and not seen before , strong fretwork pattern to the gallery and original lacquered brass carrying handles . One might put this pair in the collectors category as having a rich untouched natural patination.
True pairs of Georgian Bedside Cabinets are rare , as it is quite normal for the matching up of two individual tables with slight differences . Most Cabinets generally have one door ,it is quite uncommon to have two doors to each .
Circa 1765
