A rare James I / Charles I carved elm heraldic support, West Country, circa 1620-40.
Designed as a unicorn sejant erect, ducally gorged and chained, bearing a scroll-edged shield, on a custom-made plinth, unicorn only dimensions: 23.5 centimetres height, 10 centimetres width, 8.7 centimetres depth.
