A rare Elizabeth I joined oak child's high chair, circa 1580.
The back panel carved with a leaf-filled lozenge, set between uprights with integral flat circular finials delicately crescent gauge-carved, and two straight channel-moulded and dog-tooth stamped rails, the straight, narrow arms mortised into fluted baluster-turned and ball-finial uprights, single seat board, deep seat rails, each with a large floral and stamped lunette, elegant conforming baluster turned and carved front legs, joined all round by plain stretchers.
