A rare Early 18th Century Delft Lobed Dish.
Decorated with a chinoiserie scene of a man sitting on rocks within a landscape. Surrounded by a triple-circle center and an interlocking arc and trefoil border.
The rim with 27 flutes decorated with stylized trefoils. The under-rim marked ‘15’. In original condition. Probably German, first quarter of the 18th century.
1700 to 1725 German.
Measures: Diameter 34cm., 13 1/2 height 6cm., 2 1/2".
