Rare Chinese red-overlay yellow glass snuff bottle, Qing dynasty, 19th century, the elongated body with a cylindrical neck, flat neck and an oval foot ring, the ruby red overlay carved with fruiting branches of pomegranates and peaches applied against a yellow ground.

Notes:
The combination of red overlay decoration on yellow glass is not common, the yellow ground tone suggests an imperial production, possibly from the first part of the 19th century.
