A fabulous and rare Pair of 18th Century Chinese Canton Hardwood Chair mirrowing the English Queen Anne Period counterpart, with the added expression of the very individual stylised intricate carving which in turn resembles the gilt gesso relief seen on English tables, mirrors and chairs. Of superb proportions and excellent original natural patina.
