A rare Charles II pine chest of drawers, circa 1680.
The boarded top with applied moulded edge, over two short and three long graduated drawers, twin-panelled sides, on extended stile supports.
Compared to oak, fruitwood and walnut chests of drawers of similar date, there are relatively few pine examples in existence.
