A rare and unusual French double-sided display cabinet by François Linke, in the Louis XVI style, the satinwood and harewood A-frame upper section with two hinged glazed doors and solid ends, each side enclosing three shelves lined in crimson velvet.
The rectangular top with a heart-pierced ormolu gallery, all raised on four reededmahogany legs joined by an I-stretcher, applied with ormolu mounts, the locks stamped ‘Ct. Linke Serrurerie Paris’.
